Where do I start, we live near the coast in a modern house. The whole year round we are plagued by tiny little annoying flies. Although, I think they may be worse in the summer, stands to reason I suppose. They are tiny, a kind of orange/red in colour, and their wings extend pass the end of their body, maybe thats the case with all flies. I have caught one and squashed it, and clearly it had been drinking wine!!! I checked my wine glass from last night, and they were all in there having a party.........cheek. Anyway, can anyone tell me please what they are and how to get rid of them? Before they drink all my wine !
