I was up on Lost River Peak over the weekend and suffered some of the same results. part of the climb was perfect solid snow but most of it was a thin crust followed by sugar. up on the ridge we where turned around by pure sugar, I did see other tracks across the ridge line(wes) but most of the tracks where burried or on a super weak cornice, we made it to around 250' from the main summit before it bacame to rough.
