going? If you go when there is no snow it's real straight forward. You and the pooch can easily make it up there. I was up there two years ago in July and the first part of the "trail" was the steepest. You could even go further up past the lake. I went to the pass between Williams and Thompson and back down to Marshall Lake. But with the amount of snow this year the snow fields past the lake may be larger and linger longer.
