and his UFO show.

My comments:

ALL of the photographs shown during the show are known to be hoaxes or explained.
Mysterious triangular craft is the stealth blimp which appeared in a issue of Popular Science.
Phoenix AZ sightings were indeed flares. I have seen the same type of flare over the Gulf of Mexico near Pensacola.
Bud Hopkins IMHO is not a good scientist(based on this show and the NOVA episode).
The show didn't show or quote Loftus who is one of the leading experts on memory.

Highlights (hightlights because I would scream if I heard about these one more time):

The show *didn't* mention the Gulf Breeze Sightings.
The show *didn't* mention Barney and Betty Hill or Travis Walton.
Ditto for Billy Meier.

Comments about the UFO monement in gnereal:
Allen Hynek did not start promoting UFO as alien craft until after he was layed off by the USAF.
The USAF never stated that UFO did not exist. The official statement syas that they are not a threat to national security. This fact is always mis-stated by UFo proponents.
