we were talking apples vs. oranges, a rather common problem with this indirect medium.

There have apparently been only a few sightings of this new large ape, which is apparently assumed to be a new type of gorilla. However, from what I remember, this critter's appearance, and especially its behavior, seem very different from both the Lowland and Mountain Gorilla. They are apparently taller, leaner, much more aggressive, and very intelligent pack-hunters, like chimpanzees, which are deadly, very strategic hunters of (at least) various types of monkeys.
