Response to Fish DO fall from the sky...

 

Yeah, I read quite about of Charles Fort, years ago. He was always fun because he'd oftentimes get his stories from the old 1800s papers, and they would oftentimes have really slow news days (apparently) where people would just invent stuff for publication.

The fall from the sky stuff was probably all true, though.

Enormous chunks of ice oftentimes fall. They're generally blamed on airplanes icing up, but it's highly possible that huge chunks of ice come from outer space, too (seeing that that's what they say comets are). That in itself is proof that there's water out there somewhere.

I've read stories of ice chunks as big as a volkswagon falling, then breaking into pieces.

Nuts have fallen, before. Supposedly frogs, fish, raw meat, 'little crosses'. Can't remember if it ever rained cats and dogs, though.
