Yes, mammoth tusks have been found nearly everyplace. The contentious part are the indicators which seem to imply that they lived far beyond the time boundary that are generally placed upon them.
It would seem that small pockets of them probably continued until quite recent times, probably until around the year 900, at least (and that is 8900 years beyond the time period that accepted scientific dogma acknowledges.
