the wrong candidate to lead the church? Personally I don't go along with his religous beliefs but why should the Cardinals be concerned about the feelings of American liberals, Protestants, or the media when it comes to deciding who they want to run their church? Why should the cardinals not pick someone who believes in the tenets of his church rather than someone who is promising radical changes?
The Episcopal Church of America is in massive disarray for some decisions that it has made in regards to its selection of priests and the matter of elevation of priest to bishop. Why should the Catholics do the same?
