Response to Bullying of inventors by skeptics is cruel and damaging

...since you don't appear to be responding to any specific post on this board, I can only guess that PhACT's President, Eric Krieg, somehow got under your skin.

Private inventors, whether their ideas are sound are not, have a very rough road to travel. Did you ever hear of Xerography? It's the technology behind the original Xerox copier and the giant corporation of the same name, and the basis for all optical document copiers in existence today. Xerography was the invention of a largely unknown genius named Chester Carlson. Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with his life story. The barriers he had to overcome were truly daunting.

I hold about 20 patents. All were granted as part of my employment for a variety of major corporations. I have an entrepreneur friend who holds over a hundred patents, and who built a relatively successful business around some of them. Most of those 100+ patents, his and mine, aren't worth the paper they're printed on, and certainly not worth the legal fees required to obtain them. Edison had it right: "Invention is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration."

Good luck!

PS: I trust that you are more careful with your inventive pursuits than you are with your written communications.
