You're absolutely right. Nothing will change until there are no Republicans or Democrats and maybe not then either. I look how pathetic we appear as a nation with Bush at the helm and feel that I know that it would not be a whit different with Kerry as pres.
The absolute worst thing left out of our Constitution was a dictate against the existence of special interest groups (i.e. political parties, lobbies, etc.).
