No, "free speech" is not free speech, not when it is used as some club to trump other freedoms. There is some considerable confusion concerning liberty and license. What is at hand in that case is a matter of abuse of freedom, contempt of decorum, and grotesque incivility.
The ACLU is even more contemptable then that band of sad sacks causing the fuss. The should know better and I expect they do know better but nonetheless perversly persist.
