Response to Campbell soup and sea salt

 

a preservative. The salinity has to be a certain value. Usually if you want less salt then the shelf life is reduced. e.g. I eat prepackaed lunch meat that has no preservatives and the shelf life is a few weeks. Normal lunch meat like Healthy Choice has shelf lifes of a few months!
