Get a load of this:
It seems that a man in New Zealand, a Mr. Laird McGillicuddy Graeme Cairns, disliked filling in census forms. So, to avoid filling in the forms he claims that he had himself cryogenically frozen, and on the day of the census he was dead.
In a previous census he claimed that his spirit was possesed by an ancient ape and he was not humnan.
Mr. Cairns plans for the next time to be hypnotized into believing that he is a turnip.
He reasoned in the 2006 census that if one is dead one need not fill in census forms. I guess I can not argue that point, but I do wonder if his estate was liable for taxes.
