Get a load of this item from Dr. Steven Barrett's Quackwatch weekly Consumer Health Digest. A very strange affair indeed.

Meanwhile, about an hour ago, Mexican authorities closed that so called medical facility.

Coretta Scott King dies in Mexican cancer clinic.

Coretta Scott King, widow of former civil rights
leader Martin Luther King, died at Hospital Santa
Monica http://www.hospitalsantamonica.com/, a
shady clinic run by Kurt Donsbach. The facility's
Web site falsely claims that "with very few
exceptions, traditional allopathic treatment of
cancer today results in no more benefit than in
1950 when records of cancer successes were first
kept." The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported
that Mrs. King had checked into the facility
under an assumed name and died in her sleep a few
days afterward. [Judd B and others. Clinic,
founder operate outside norm: Holistic health
practitioner has criminal record, dubious resumé.
Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Feb 1, 2006]
http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/metro/atlanta/stories/0201kinghospital.html
The report also stated that Mrs King was in the
late stages of ovarian cancer and was being
"evaluated for possible treatment" before she
died. Donsbach has "degrees" from several
nonaccredited schools and has been the target of
several criminal and civil prosecutions. [Barrett
S. The shady activities of Kurt Donsbach.

Many people wonder why the Mexican government
permits shady clinics to operate. Most observers
believe that it welcomes the "tourist" dollars
and that bribery may also be a factor. The
National Council Against health Fraud would like
the American government to ask the Mexican
government to stop the exploiting of desperate
Americans.

the real question is ....

February 3 2006, 7:15 PM

How come MLK jr. got a national holiday? It is an embarrassment to truth and black people. He commonly cheated on his wife. ¹More than half of his doctoral thesis can now be searched on the internet and clearly authored by people before him. (he plagiarized, .... get it?) There are many blacks, including probably most that you may walk past on the street every day who are more honorable than he was. Yet our great nation PROMULGATES A LIE with this holiday. Our children our indoctrinated with this lie in elementary school almost every year. This is exactly how Nazi Germany inculcated its lies into society.

Until the truth matters more than anything else, we can't hope to solve most our country's chronic problems.

¹ this stuff was all known when our lying PC elected officials voted to create the holiday. This is another reason for term limits. Since PC is all the vogue and the truth gets you in trouble, let's have term limits so our electors won't be afraid to tell/vote for the truth since they know they won't be around past the next election anyway.

If anyone sees any clickable words in the message above that I am responding too. They were put there by Network54. DON'T CLICK ON THEM OR YOU ARE BEING THE SAP THAT THEY HOPE YOU WILL BE. If you see such clickable words, this is an edit provided by Network54 WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. This happens to others who post here too. Sometimes they can keep you from seeing it if you view your own post, but others can see it. It in every way implys that you are aware of the alteration and approve of it. This is such an evil lie.

My offer of $150 gift to PhACT for equivalent message software and free lifetime (or until circumstances dictate otherwise) webspace still stands, and then we'll never view another add or have our message altered by the host again.

There are many...

February 3 2006, 8:59 PM

manufactured notions regarding our country's history besides MLK, Jr. E.g. George Washington was the first president of the United States. Actually he was the ninth. The first president was John Hanson. Ever hear of him? Of course not he was not a president under the glorious system that we have today. He was the first president of the United States under the Articles of Confederation. He signed his name as and his title was President of the United States in Congress. It is just more dramatic to have the "father of his country" being the first president.

... lies

" .... manufactured notions regarding our country's history .... "

Yes there are. Maybe Franklin was a total scum bag. Or Lincoln even maybe.

But I guess you were just trying to change the subject, or at least divert from the point.

No, you changed the subject ...

from did CSK die from alternative medicine to why do we continue this lie that MLK,Jr. was a great man. I pointed out that there are many such notions. The most famous and inflamatory being that GW was not the first president of the United States of America.

However, my example of a government promoted lie is also useful as a bar bet.
