hi thanks for all the replies. i am still looking for a site where i can trace my family tree but there does not seem to be one for poland/ukraine that is in english.
my father was in scotland for a few months after the war then moved down to hull on the east coast where he still lives but at 83 years old his memory is not that good so i cant find much out about my polish side of the family. he gets confused with the spellings and language after spending so long in the uk.
