An episode of history all but erased from public memory.

In 1942, 150,000 Polish men, women and children, recently released from the Soviet work camps of Siberia, were allowed to enter Iran via the Caspian port of Pahlavi (Anzali). Within weeks of their arrival, thousands were dead. For the others, their lives were never the same again.
