I couldnt agree with you more

I HATE nursing homes. I was fed up about a year ago with the whole feild in general. You think its hard for you, try being a male in this feild. It sucks when you know you do your job better than ANY other aide in the building and you get fired because you told some UGLY snot nosed lpn not to talk to you with such an attitude. BAM! Fired.
You pick up extra shifts so the aides dont have to work short and they give you the hardest and most out of their mind set of residents in the building, one makes a complaint about you, state investigates it, finds the complaint is false but you ****ed up and told the nurse she was off her rocker BAM! fired. Or how about this one. Youre working your ass off on a unite but the UM doesnt like you, for whatever reason the B***H just doesnt like you, she constantly has you suspended and investigated until one day the DON gets tired of it all and fires your ass.

I know what youre talking about. At one time I HATED this feild. My advice for you isnt to "just hang in there"...Get out while you can or you'll be stuck with no other options.
Try a hosp. They are MUCH MUCH MUCH different than nursing homes.
