"wish i was right" she sighed "Unfortunatly i'm not...MIsto has only seen his new kits twice since they were born...and i think it's my fault"

MIntika tilts her head "Why would it be your fault Vicky?"

"WEll because..." she started but along came one of her newset kittes (that are a year old now hehe) Colette and sat on her knee. The kitten was black and Red "because of this" vicky sighed motioning to her kit

But....*looking at the kitten then back at Vicky she became confused* how? Which kitten is this?

"This is Colette, the youngest of our second litter" Vicky explained "her brother, Cygnus, looks exactly like my old friend Paris, white with a red ear"

Mintika nodded nuzzling the kit "I see but are they his kits then Vic?"

"Of course they are" she replied "You know i'd never do something like that"


Colette nuzzled her back and asked "Are you mom's friend, I love meeting mom's friends"

Mintika nods "I know that Victoria. Didn't Misto belive you?" Mintika grins at the kit "Yea I'm one of your moms friends. I'm Mintika."

"See that's the thing he didn't stick around long enough to know that Coleete looks like my grandmother so it comes from my side of the family" she sighed


"My name is Colette, it's nice to meet you" the kit replied

Mintika sighs and shakes her head "Toms...Don't worry Vicky he'll come back and then you can explain it to him." Mintika smiled at Colette. "Colette is a very pretty name."

"Thank you, it's French" Colette smiled "Mom picked it out and her and Nana have been teching me French" she said proudly

"She's a quick learner too" Vicky added

"Really? I'm impressed I never could figure the language out. You got a smart kit Vic." MIntika grins at both of them

"Yah I'm very lucky with them, they are smart and very well behanved" Vicky nodded

Mintika nods and smiles "I can see that they are. You are lucky Vicky."

"Oh there's Cygnus" Colette beamed her and her brother were very close "May I be excused to go play with him mom?" she asked politely

"Of course" Vicky nodded "HAve fun"

"Thank you Mom. It was nice to meet you Minkita,goodbye" after saying her goodbyes she ran to catch up with cyngus and they trotted off to play

"YOu know she sounds older than a year sometimes" Vicky laughed watching her go so she would know where to find them later

Mintika smiles watching the kitten go "Yes she does but she's a very sweet kiotten."

"Yes I'm very proud of her"

nods "As you should be...So now what are us two lonely queens going to do?"

"That's a very good question" VIcky laughed "Do you remember what it is we use to do before we had familys...i cant think back that far" she joaked

Mintika laughs and shakes her head "I can't even remember. I think we used to sit around and dream about toms...Ahhh that was the life."

Vicky giggled "To think i was always told daydreaming would get you know where"

Mintika laughs "Yea no kidding just look at us we daydreamed and we got here."

"Perhaps we should keep that to ourselves" Vicky grinned "We can't have all the jellicle wandering around with their heads in the clouds now can we"

Mintika laughs "Oh I think thats a very smart idea... we'll let them figure that out on themselves."

"And it gives us something to know that no one else does" she laughed

Mintika grins "Oh yes! Our little secret that we'll hide from the world."

"WE sound like we've lots our minds....if we had them to begin with" Vic laughed

Mintika laughs "Honey I know I've never had mine to begin with."

"Who needs it, we've obviously gotten along judt fine" she said still laughing

Mintika still laughing shrugs "Obviously we didn't. We have gotten along without them we could have sold them and made tons of money. Vicki We could be rich by now!"
