Response to I think Mike uses a trick valve spring..(taper wound?) that helps output
I'm working on a valve with a conical spring against the valve stem and maybe cut off 1/2" or more off the aluminum end of the valve. I got some of this idea from this forum a while back.This will give me a little larger air capacity in front of the valve .I've used this same valve and barrel on a qb78 and it was a 100fps faster so it must be the area in front of the valve making the difference.
