Hi.
Velocity nr:
JSB Straton 16 grn ave 687 fts.
RWS Hobby 12 grn ave 785 fts.
Premier 14,3 grn ave 732 fts.

That makes this a 17 ft.lb. gun. It is not only powerful, but accurate also.

Temperature at the time of testing was 23C/70F.

Thanks for reading.
Rune

Tuning the 2260

June 30 2008, 6:53 AM

My english is not the best, but if you go into the pages to American Airgunhunter (Jim Chapman)
and do the same tuning he does to his 2240. Then you will be close to the nr I get w/my 2260 now.

I opened all parts in contact w/the gass and polish (SP?) everything.
The tranferport and port in the barrel are very important to open and polish. Allso open all
angels where the gass flows.

I also put a screw between the hammer and spring.

I was very suprised about the high velocity I got. The temp at the time of testing was only 23C/70F.
When it gets warmer the velocity will get even higher.

Sincerely
Rune
