Hi,
assuming that you are talking about a hard copy/printed book the way to have a copyright that will go home in the court is that you will need to buy a post package not a envelope by one that is special made so they can only be opened once put your manuscript in it and send it to yourself!
The befinets of this methods in the court are 2 :
1) it is a one time open package for the judge to see !
2) it has a post office stamp on it with the date when it was sent!
Hope this helps to be extra secured send a second copy of your manuscript to yourself this is better since who knows maybe you will meet 2 different judges in different locations and you will need to prove that you own the manuscript to both
