There use to be a program that could prevent people from sharing your ebook, i.e., uploading and sending it to an individual or file sharing program.The website is no longer around, and the software, or service, is no more.

Just wondering if there is anything out there that will prevent file sharing for not only EXE created ebooks, but PDF files as well? It would be a wonderful thing if there was some sort of protection measure that would limit folks to a "one computer" download - preventing them from uploading or sharing your ebook with the masses..

Suggest you do a search for phrases like 'file lock'. I just tried this and numerous results were evident.
