Me and my father have a 37 Ford we're building. The stats on the Motor are
1970 351C 4v with CC heads, 10 to 1 compression, .30 over, headers, roller cam, roller rockers, cast iron intake, aluminum waterpump, mechanical fan, aftermarket pullies.
The car itself has a brand new Walker radiator with fan shroud. The car will run at an idle and slowly creep its way up to about 220 before we shut the car off. If you rev the car up slightly it will drop right back down to 180 degrees. It has the correct 351C thermostat. We've also put on a smaller waterpump pully to overdrive it so maybe it would stay cool, no luck. Any suggestions. My dad is wanting to pull the walker radiator and go with a Griffin aluminum radiator. The car is over heating at an idle on 80 degree days at an idle it'll never make it on a hot summer day with the AC on.
