Hi joe ,
I forgot in my earlier ramblings post to mention cam
advance. As you mentioned it's critical and the last
component to making iron heads make big power . Get the
intake opening @100-104 just like you reminded me and
it'll still go 9000 and make power till the oil pan
fails .Check out my 2 posts above .
