| Im trying to install them on my 1970 mustang, 351c 4v, with power steering and toploader 4 spd.
The problem is that the on the drivers side the #7tube hits toward the bottom of the steering box and on the passenger side one tube hits on the top bolt of the idler arm. Since its touching on both sides I can't shift the motor over. The only way to possibly get clearance would be to set the engine 1" to the rear in which case the tranny would hit the driveshaft yoke,so that aint happening. It looks like I will have to massage them with a hammer, which don't seem right with custom headers. Has anybody used these headers in this application with good results?
Thanks again |
