Y'see, it all started with KOF. I was browsing through KOF sites back in the day - this being 1997 or something - and I came across Orochika's KOF site. MMK probably knows what site I'm talking about, I'm not sure about anyone else. Sadly, that site is long gone now.
Anyway, Orochika was also a damn nifty artist, if I do say so myself, and at one point, some time later (1998 or thereabouts), she had a link to Impromanga (the first one) and I followed that. Shortly afterwards, a link to Improfanfic was posted on Impromanga and I followed that. Another year passed, the first sweeps was held, and Indie Madnesse popped up right about then.
This has been another example of why Obligatory Links Pages are good.
