Whats everyones ones views on Tito v RJJ ???
I do own (which is nice, considering we very rarley see him over here ) a tape will all of RJJ fights up until Telesco !
I marvell at this guys talent, admire his businesslike attitude to one extent but resent his lack of urgency in making the big fights happen in an other !!
I know he's just simply to good for his division and most of the boxing world PFP ! But we need to see him in meaningful, hard fights to see exactly what he's made of ! He didnt think twice in taking The Toney fight and with 'Lights out' at the top of his game this was one massive fight, but apart from Hopkins what else have we seen ??
I admire Tito for the obvious different reasons but I really cant see him beating RJJ. And as good as Tito is (and he's allegedly walking around at 175 ! )I dont think he'll be big enough or powerful enough (although Joppy will tell me otherwise i guess ! )
I dont know how he's managed to move up so easily and carry the weight and power up with him but for me RJJ is just one step to far !!
I agree with you that Tito would lose to Jones, Jones is just simply too good and after the fight (Tito vs Jones, if it ever happens) he will be placed back in #1 P4P as he should be. I think people are going with Tito to win because Jones has not been against anyone that can show his true talent in a long time, but it is still there and it will come out if he faces Tito.
Still no disrespect to Tito I think he is definetely #2 P4P right now I just think Jones is way above him.
