On the dial of the Patek 5196 (and likely other PPs) the markers are riveted (I think that's the word) into the dial - instead of glued on/to the dial.
Evidently this is the most durable solution in a long time perspective.
I wonder how the long narrow markers on superb the Contemporaine are fixed to the dial, and I'd very much appreciate any information on this subject.
I know this is a microscopic subject - however it may tell a little about the similarity or difference in approaching quality by those two competing manufacturers.
