I think someone beat me to this one a few days ago, but here it is.

http://www.mapleridgenews.com/portals-code/list.cgi?paper=46&cat=23&id=1044709&more=0

"Thieves got away with a loot after breaking into a container owned by the Pitt Meadows Paddling Club last week.
.
.
.
Thirty-six dragon boat paddles worth $2,700, two steering oars worth $400, three weed-eaters, a two-cycle pump and two pleasure canoes which cost $1,000 were stolen."

Crazy. Sad to hear that.

"Thirty-six dragon boat paddles worth $2,700" or worth nothing because you can't possibly sell that many stolen dragon boat paddles without getting busted.
