You probably have a number of competitive teams coming to the Festival. Why don't you ask that their steersperson lend a hand. It's pretty standard at other Festivals.

We are looking to hire 3 steers to work for us at the event. Since we have 15 or so local teams we want to have experienced steers to get them down the course safely.
We always request (and appreciate very much) the assistance of the steers from the more experienced teams lending a hand, but want to due our part to ensure we are not leaning to heavily on their generosity.

So to that end Melissa is looking for 3 to hire and for the registered teams to offer up their assistance as they feel they can. It is usually in the first round where we need the most help.

By the way we are going to swing the start line across the lake this year to provide better lane depth and viewing from the tent area.
