I thought they were to be Thursday & Friday and that the nationals are on Saturday & Sunday. Did they change it to just one day? |

the race being 2 days depended on the number of teams registered. they didnt have enough to have a 2 day event so it was condensed into a 1 day event. Should be exciting. |

Mayfair owned by FCRCC. A clean sweep by the west coast (200m and 500m). Congrats to False Creek. |

Fairport U23 was not close at all. They laid a smack down on PDBC. If I was PDBC who talked so much smack before the race I would be embaressed. Maybe you guys should learn how to paddle before you open your mouths. |

I think PDBC are a bunch of good paddlers but the problem is that they have a reputation of being a bunch of spoiled-ass punch of punks that talk crap all the time and goes back some years and now it has even filtered with their young crew. Do you believe in kharma. Nawww, Fairport just kicked their ass good for them. End of the lesson. |

"neither mayfair nor false creek was in attendance today, please refer to the team as east vrs west."
This is incorrect except the part that 1 team represented the west " FCRCC " and 1 team represented the east " mayfair / beasts" .
What you saw on friday was the true FCRCC A Crew ,the same crew that raced at any other event this year . The only paddler that was not FCRCC was 1 female ,who alot of you already know and she from Ontario and wanted to be a part of the crew .It is not just 1 paddler that makes a team but an entire team working together that makes a crew what it is .
On another note as we headed into the Canadian Nationals 6 of our A team crew members that raced returned home after the NTT's on friday nite and we headed into the sat/sunday event w/ paddlers from our B team .

That's one strong B crew! Congrats on your results. They are probably not what you had expected, but you guys were simply awesome to watch, and i've got plenty of video to watch over and over disecting your stroke down to it's basics. You got something going right! |

Let me rephrase this as it seems some like to read it the way they want ...... 6 add't team members from within the club filled the vacant spots that were left open by crew members that returned home on friday nite

Why would they make the trip and leave prior to NTT's? And if so then they deserve the 3rd place over all.
I am still laughing at the poster who said winning by .07 secs is really a tie. |

My team lost a race by 0.01 seconds. We do not consider it a tie, we lost. | |
