Montreal.
Lachine Canal.
The "home stretch" was 6 km. You should see what 8 boats in a heat look like jockeying for position in a sprint for the finish over the last leg of 6 km. Bloody intense.

To the organizer: Please! Next year, no more music while we're racing! I could barely hear my coach at times, and it completely f*cked with my concentration.
Also: The zodiac, and the pontoon boat kept zooming around, causing wake, and bringing water into our boat! TALK TO THESE PEOPLE, PLEASE!

I would LOVE to hear music during a race. And not the "Hawaii 5-0" them from GWN's of the past. More like "Flight of the Valkyries", or some really heavy rock music.
