We really owe them a big thank you. Think of tall the unemployment claims that would be filed if all those overpaid (over rated?) behavioral specialists didn't have an ever increasing population of neurologically damaged children to babysit? Think of what would happen to the average school's budget if they didn't have Federal funding to divert into other areas of the budget (like new carpet for the office and painting the school logo in the endzones for home games and bonuses for those sped directors who contain unecessary costs. Think of all the intstitutions that would not get the $80-100K per year from medicaid for drugging our children into complacency when they grow up and become too much for us to handle.
