It is a valid point, and actually jives well with what I suspect is the truth, a combination of genetics and triggers. I just do not believe that the genes make autism inevitable, I think they allow certain children to be more easily damaged by merc, viruses, microbal toxins and immuno overload. I think that if you eliminate the toxic triggers, the genes will remain un-expressed.
But the Dragon Lady refuses to take off her blinders. I think I know why she is so desperate for it to be solely genetic... It absolves her from the guilt that I feel for not protecting my son from this damage. That is also why she needs it to be on the Y chromosone... Then she can blame his bad genetic material. She accuses me of denying my son's condition, but in truth, it is she who does so. |
