Something for your pediatrician

This article should be printed and given to every pediatrician office in your area. It actually states in it that the peds need to take parents concerns seriously. Jeez, what a thought!!!! They also suggest a questionaire for parents to fill out in the waiting room which can help identify early signs. remember, most folks, especially new moms, only voice concerns about lack of speech or think something is wrong with the childs hearing. They don't know enough about milestones. They admit in this article that most peds dismiss parents concerns and now are saying the ped needs to be more aware and up-to-date on spectrum issues and incorporate tests into regular visits. I'm shipping this to the boys incompetent(albeit gorgeous) ped. He pisses me off every time I take the boys in for something.
