Good Morning - good freinds....

Hi everyone!!!

I went to see my little babe yesterday morning and he was OFF his ventilator!!!!

I finally got to hold my babe. Only 5 minutes because he still needs to be in the oxygen tent. But that is set at only 40% oxygen where as it was up to 90% while he was on the ventilator.

He was up after I held him, kicking and playing for 45 minutes after that! I stood there and talking to him holding his hands letting him just like a baby should.

It was so wonderful to see that activity in him!!!! Then he got a whopping case of the hiccups and fell asleep exhuasted.

He never once fussed, he looked totally contented and happy and thankful. What a wise little boy!

I took Melissa in yesterday evening after dinner and he was still asleep. Breating was great and they are beginning to lower medicines.

The docs and nurses are so surprised over his quick recovery and response to treatment. He is really doing fantastic.

Take care everyone. Got a couple of kids to get ready for school, then I'm going in again! Would you all beleive that there are some babies that have not had a visitor since I have been going in. I have also been going around and visiting those babies which I haven't seen a visitor with. I hope that helps them. Some of them are so small and just totally absolutely beautiful. (can you tell I have a tender spot for all babies)... I wish I could take them in too!
