I don't know anything about primative reflexes, but we've been going to Greenspan for years, and he believes a lot of autism and other developmental disorders are based in the central nervous system, which controls sensory perception. The environmental factors definitely aggrevate things.
If your son had a lot of antibiotics, you may want to consider adding treatment for yeast overgrowth in the gut (Nystatin, etc).
