they just give that mighty push down the spiral - that's when genetic predispositions, heredity and other factors kick in. Asthma, diabetes, IBD, MS, lupus, allergies, immune and neurological disorders, etc, etc...take your pick.
My girl is NOT autistic (it's me who is on the spectrum in our family) - in fact, she is probably the "NTest" child I've ever seen. About 1.5 year ago, several months after being mandatorily vaccinated against HepB, she developed Crohn's disease - lifelong inflammatory bowel condition, and has been sick ever since. By the way, she says the same thing: "Mom, my whole middle school got vaccinated, and I'm the only one who got Crohn's". But she is still at the age of innocence...
