Response to Well...I was impressed and it takes alot for me to be impressed by ANYTHING at 5 am!

I tried outside for a while, but it was soooo cold.

So i figured i could see from my LR if i turned out all the lights, and not only was it warm, the view was great. Lucky i have a huge window facing the southern sky!

There wasnt much to see until about 2:30, well i guess seeing "falling stars" every few seconds is something to see...but after 2:15-2:30 there were LOTS more. Was really neat...

I watched till about 4:30 and fell asleep. By that time it was more staring at the night sky and contemplating the universe than seeing "shooting stars" as they were occuring only every few minutes instead of every few seconds like was happening previously. Truly an awesome sight!!!
