| this product called efalex focus. by flora.it contains Cis-linoleic acid (from evening primrose oil) 108 mg, gamma-linolenic acid (from evening primrose oiil) 13.5 mg, vitamin E 20 IU and tuna oil 260 mg and thyme oil 3 mg.
had been using it for son, it is marketed for ADHD children. Had noticed that there was a respoonse in his ability to concentrate, andfocus on issues. and perhaps also has been beneficial in helping him with regulating moods... when he is upset it is not such a total meltdown.
has anyone used this product?
if so, what type of response?
any non-beneficial effects?
then was wondering, if it was possible to (meaning would it be similar effect) to buy these ingredients, alone and feed him those. like the evening primrose oil, got that, and the fish oil, is cod-liver oil just as good as the tuna oil (havent noticed the tuna oil in stores, and the cod liver oil is not too expensive) and what about the thyme oil, does anything it is a 'necessary' ingredient in this combo, seeing it is at 3mg? the vitamin E seems to be at a low amount (20 IU), does anyone else think so? was told by the guy working at the health food store that 50 IU is considered to be "appropriate" amount for kids.
have been wondering, because this product would cost a little more then actually buying the products individually.
