I cant stop laughin at their stupidity...

Im sorry, i know its not a laughin matter, but they dont have a clue.

For one thing they cant just "decide" she doesnt need an IEP ... they would have to send you a Prior Written Notice for starters.

For another thing, to receive Speech Therapy she has to have an IEP or at the least a 504 plan....DUH ON THEM. And Duh even if there were such a thing as a Speech Therapy IEP, a parent would have to be afforded the SAME rights of IDEA in regard to being part of any group that decides what services she needed.

For another thing, she had goals in her last IEP, did she complete ALL of those?

When was her last evaluation? What did it say?

Im still laughin at the ignorance....jeeeez....
