So sorry the vet and ex are being so insensitive. Cheryl is right about getting liquid in him. Do you have a turkey baster or large eye dropper so you can force water down him more often? When my dog got arthritis the vet had us give him people aspirin twice a day. That could help reduce swelling and pain. Let us know if it's working. We may be able to think of other things to try.
