Actually, I think they are short cause they deny FAPE

and it costs them money...I doubt there is one district that hasnt had a Due Process Hearing...which costs THOUSANDS of dollars. If they would just provide appropriate education well....

My district is providing compensatory education in the amount of $200k for the last few years(each year)...(i know this cause i FOIA'd the records) so i can imagine how much the Due Process Hearing's cost on those. And i know the one for mine had to run at least $20k if not more for the denial of FAPE one...and $10 k for the ESY one...

such a unending cycle...
