Response to What is everyone doing for New Years Eve? |
| The last 2 years we have had the boys for New Years/ I bought lots of confetti, horns, poppers and Marintinellis sparkling cider. We put the cider in little wine glasses that Ryan LOVED. The beat on pots and pans, threw confetti everywhere. Thomas loved the poppers and he and Chris had a silly string fight but those 2 items scared the wits out of Ryan and he grabbed me, dragged me into the bedroom and slammed the door shut. I thought it was so sweet that he tried to "save" gramma. So we stayed in there till the fun was over and he was fine after that. We go by New York time, watch the ball drop and then put them to bed. That way, they are only 1 hour past bedtime.
Yesterday I bought the horns and some noisemakers and confetti so we are ready for this year. Thomas thinks it is so much fun. Ryan really likes beating on pots and pans and drinking from his wine glass. Also, my oldest son was born New Years Day many moons ago(sigh) so I always call him at midnight to wish him a Happy Birthday. | |
