This may well apply to the "old" autism that was there from birth and was indeed rare. Not the "new" autism.
I really think we should start a movement to STOP calling these kids ASD and start calling them what they are - neurologically and immunologically injured. By calling them autistic, it perpetuates these studies which are looking at a different disorder with a different basis but similar symptoms. These kids are not autistic - they are autistic-like due to injury! | |
