Response to I'm very glad to hear your opinions on this......

has just about been eliminated with Daniel. He use to have more than 20 "aggressives" per day. He is down to one or none. And it think its because everything is so structured he knows what to expect. They have a good Behavioral plan and everyone has been trained to know when hes had enough ect. and to avert it rather than letting it lead to meltdown.

The school just wants to drug him, rather than LEARN how to provide him a good environment in which to learn. Glad you arent letting them...

I personally dont think any child should be drugged. I think most agression is them trying to communicate. And most children that have an inability to "sit" need a richer learning experience based on their interests and how they learn rather than being expected to sit and listen to the teacher.Just my opinion.
