what is the difference???

between those HFA who "make it" and who dont?

what is the percentage of those in the spectrum who are considered "high functioning" and those who are not so high functioning?

then, what is the percentage of those who are "high functioning" who have "made it" in society (using the description of "making it" as society seems to classify it... being able to hold down a job, being able to live independently [including those who live in some sort of supportive environments, because they really are considered being independent], being able to have sufficient social contacts to be sufficiently satisfied about it as an individual.. is that pretty much what is considered 'making it'?), and those who have not "made it" in society?
