on this:

think we do have peer pressure.
it is just that... our "peer" is not the "traditional" peer.... for out of loneliness births a despondent child of abandonment (or visa versa?) which grows up to be the "peer" to whom we play "keeping up with the Jones' " games.... is that not how some human behaviour works?

even hermits have their private demons which 'drive' their psyche... :o|
