It's a little ironic that

David Kelley (the individual that writes and, I believe, produces the series) is married to Michelle Pfifer (sp). She, as I understand it, is currently featured in a movie that shows the special needs community in a very positive light. The main character, I read, is an adult with mental retardation and autistic tendencies.
