more good news.
daughter went to her ped. doctor wednesday.
she gained 2 lbs!!!!
this is amazing.... !!!... she has been 45-47 lbs from the age of 6 until 9 and never gained anything. she did fall back from 47 to 45 just this summer... and now she is back up at 47!... also, the doctor this time said "ooh maybe the last time she was here she was not as comfortable with me, but today i can see she is doing some 'odd' behaviours" (thank goodness daughter had left the room by now) and he is encouraging a referral to some "childrens centre" at the hospital for some assessments. he wants her to see a pediatric nutritionist, as well as have an OT assessment along with the developmental assessment that she is still waiting for.....
he is the same doc who said the last time that AS was ruled out by him because he didnt think daughter was "odd".... now he says he sees that she is "odd".. lol what a funny guy...
but whatever... she gained the 2 lbs she had lost... she is getting a OT referral and the nutritionist...
finally, did tell him about the enzymes, (was not expecting a positive reply) but he seemed to understand... did not say anything nasty.. and he ordered the blood test for celiac for her... said to "load her up with bread" but "keep her on the enzymes if they are helping her not have stomach aches when she eats" (daugher said that to him herself)... he said to keep eating the enzymes.. yippee!!.. maybe he is also going to be a nice doctor... and now we will have a nice doctor and a nice school..../
